I am going to many tournaments, but only in Romania. There are some good tourneys here too, but i bet none of you heard about them.

the nearest one it's going to start on 22 June (till 1 July) . It' s an international open at seaside , at Cap Aurora. It' s a quite strong tourney ; expected 80 players.

yeah...it' s one type of mate.... but if black plays instead of the king the knight to defend from check , the mate is in 3. It' s another solution to the problem. It isn't with check ...

the solution to the diagram was 1.Ke6 and mate on the second move;
