1)u can create a free account for one month, but then it will expire, so u have to buy a serial number ! but anyway i think with this client you can create three accounts, so for three months.
here is my suggestion: ( this is what i usually do )
when u finish these 3 accounts, register a new one from another computer, in that way u will always be able to play without paying !

2)finding a serial wont solve the problem becoz the server verifies the serial number online, so it cant be used more than once !!!

3) USUALLY its one month for each account, but sometimes when u get a good rank, the account might survive much more than one month

That is possible if your rank is knight/bishop or higher, that is by playing i think 100 games, and rating not less then 1400. good luck!
