I vote for 4.Nd4 as well. And if 4...Nf6, then I vote for 5.Nc3.

The reason I don't like 4.Qd4 is because then 4...a6 followed by 5...Nc6 is irritating for White.

What do you intend if Black plays the Najdorf? I would vote for 6.Be3 if this variation occured in the game.
