Because I'm a chess player (and strong at that), and having had indifferent luck, I don't really believe in supernatural forces affecting the game.
What evidence is there to support the thesis that God does exist, outside of religious texts? |

The world could just as easily be controlled by scientific processes. The Big Bang had to come from something and somewhere. And it couldn't have been created by a supernatural force, since there was obviously materials that were created from the event.

You realise that my atheism and antichristism has made the forum fully alive again.
My idea has been successful. ______________________________ As for the sky not falling... it does. Air has mass and the Earth's gravity attracts that mass. The result is the air (sky) does fall to earth, instead of escaping into outer space. Good feature that. All that air falling to earth causes atmospheric pressure, about 14.7 pounds of it per square inch at the surface, decreasing as you go higher in altitude. That 14.7 pounds of pressure is simply the weight of a column of air one inch square extending from the ground to the upper limits of the atmosphere. |
