How good are you?

I used to have a rating of 1896, but it has fallen to the 1400's in recent times. Anyway, last Wednesday night I played a game at the local club and my opponent was rated 1850. I won because I didn't lose my cool when he put the pressure on. I might share the game with my Bahrain chess friends if anyone wants to see.

Sweet, i liked the rook sacrifice, your opponent though made many blunders , anyways i would like to have this kind of system that members write the notations and then it generates the diagram in the forum. i wonder how this is possible to be integrated here.

I spoke to the owner of chessvideos.tv once about that very prospect. The cost, however, was prohibitive - around $500 US - to incorporate a pgn viewer with those diagrams within a posters post. So I abandoned the idea at that stage.

Glad you enjoyed the game, yes, he had me on the ropes but I defended well a lot of the time
