Yesterday was playing a game at the local club. Through the entire game, there was a karaoke next door, with all adults and children singing throughout, and it was very loud and disturbing. I blundered a piece during this, but won anyway as my opponent later put his queen en prise in time (and noise!) pressure.

The arbiter did absolutely nothing to stop this and the players were locked out of the karaoke room! Go figure.

I was thinking, is it possible that he's purposly putting bad smells so his opponent can't concentrate & losss, possible

Next time bring a can of aerosol to the tournament and spray him while he's thinking

Just make sure it's deodorant or air freshener, not cockroach spray

No, except in simultaneous exhibitions! Hehehe, I still remember cleaning up 30 players in a simul, it was a good way to make some money.
